AGAINST CANCER is a charity run for indigent cancer patients under the auspices of Corridor of Hope, Inc., the official cancer support group of St. Luke’s Cancer Institute. This will be held on 20 April 2013 at the Bonifacio Global City Grounds in Taguig City. This fundraising event aims to garner support from not less than 10,000 runners pooled from allied medical practitioners, corporate partners, other cancer support groups, and cancer patients’ families and friends, benefactors and students to create the awareness and to fight this dreaded disease. Proceeds will be used to fund financially-challenged patients as they go through treatments with an initial target to raise a minimum of P20M by the end this year to help a minimum of 200 indigent patients with a maximum allocation of P100,000.00 per patient. We would like to request for your group’s support by sending runners to this event. We are earnestly appealing for your benevolence to extend assistance to help improve the lives of our diseased fellowmen.
